Wellness Workshop and Board Meeting

How Are We Really Doing?  A Physician-to-Physician  Conversation on Wellbeing

An evening of reflection and  discussion led by CPHP clinical experts

Presenting is CPHP Medical Director Mary Ellen Caiati, MD and Quinn Montgomery, LCSW will lead the workshop.

 Dr.Caiti received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and aBachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, afterwhich she worked for several years with emotionally disturbed children in theSeattle area.  After receiving her medical degree from the University ofWashington, she completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University ofColorado Denver, where she served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Caiti has providedclinical service in a variety of settings, including the University of DenverStudent Health Center, the Infectious Disease Clinic at Denver Health, theBoulder Mental Health Center and, since 2000, in private practice in centralDenver. She has also worked with veterans through the Headstrong program. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry and has completed the PsychotherapyTraining Program at the Psychoanalytic Institute, Denver. Dr. Caiati has servedas Associate Medical Director at CPHP since 2004.  Dr. Caiati has servedtwo terms as the Secretary for the Federation of State Physician HealthPrograms.

Objectives

·    Recognize the connection between physician  health, professional performance, and patient safety

·    Reflect on your current level of wellbeing  and contributing stressors across personal and professional domains

·    Identify practical strategies and peer  approaches to support yourself and colleagues

·    Understand when and how to access  confidential support resources (including CPHP and national resources)

Agenda Structure

·    A dinner buffet along with a full bar will  be available during the event*

·    Interactive Wellness Workshop from 6pm to 7:15pm

·    NCMS Board of Directors Meeting 7:15pm to  8pm - members are always welcome but you don't have stay for the meeting
