NCMS Gasping for Air: Human Trafficking Education

Series Objectives

-Define Human Trafficking: Learners will be able to clearly define human trafficking, including its various forms (e.g., sex trafficking, labor trafficking), and distinguish it from related issues such as smuggling or exploitation.

-Recognize Signs and Indicators of Trafficking: Learners will be able to identify behavioral, physical, and situational indicators that may suggest a person is being trafficked.

-Respond Appropriately to Suspected Cases: Learners will demonstrate appropriate steps to take when encountering a suspected trafficking situation, including trauma-informed approaches and referral protocols.
