Are you interested in joining the NCMS Board of Directors or do you know of a great physician leader who may be interested? We’re looking for up to five northern Colorado physicians to fill current vacancies.

What is the time commitment? The board meets six times per year. Each meeting lasts roughly two hours and these meetings are generally held on Wednesday evenings. In addition, board members are strongly encouraged to attend NCMS social and educational events (two to three per year). Legislative or educational events are generally held on weeknights. Social events usually fall on Saturday afternoons and are open to families.

Board members set the course for the society through short-term projects and long-term goals with guidance and assistance from the executive director. Meetings include discussion on current topics and ongoing projects, and reports from related groups.
