September 10, 2021We launched our STEM Pipeline in early 2021 and our community and physicians members are buzzing with excitement about this new opportunity.
Our community stewardship strategic planning pillar focuses on the mission of not only making sure we are creating a healthier medical profession, but we are creating a healthier community in Larimer and Weld County. This new initiative allows NCMS to work with the Greeley/Evans, Thompson and Poudre Valley School district on giving students the opportunity to learn about a career in health, specifically giving them a path to be a physician if they are interested. NCMS’s work in this arena is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, making sure students who identify as diverse or from a minority background have a resource toolbox to know they can pursue a career in medicine if they choose.
