Paige Brophy has been named executive director of the Northern Colorado Medical Society effective Sept. 14, 2020. She is a Colorado native and grew up in the Wheat Ridge area but sees her true home in her favorite part of the state, northern Colorado. As a Colorado State University alumna, she fell in love with northern Colorado and its diverse regions, people and activities.

“I am so humbled to have been chosen as the next executive director of the Northern Colorado Medical Society,” Paige said. “Growing up in Colorado and spending time in the northern region of the state, I understand that Weld and Larimer County have extremely diverse populations and needs. I am passionate about advocating for physicians in this region to move NCMS’s mission forward, while improving health care in the state of Colorado in partnership with the Colorado Medical Society.”

Paige began her career in the nonprofit world in the Denver metro area, most recently serving as the executive director of the Outdoor Lab Foundation. The Outdoor Lab Foundation supports the Jeffco Public Schools Outdoor Lab program, ensuring 6,000 sixth-grade students attend a weeklong residential science experience in the mountains, regardless of ability or disability. She is well versed in advocating for diverse groups of people, as Jefferson County is the second largest school district in the state. She is passionate about creating strategic partnerships driving missions forward. She is confident about creating these relationships for NCMS.

Paige has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado Biz Magazine and received the Arvada Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award.

“Paige’s executive director experience along with her infectious enthusiasm, previous work with boards of directors, organizational skills, and drive for excellence made her a clear choice for our selection committee,” said NCMS President Dr. Claire Murphy, MD.

Murphy continued: “Her roots in northern Colorado will also be important as our society strengthens our membership engagement, relationships with legislators and physician advocacy.”

Paige is an avid runner, loves country music and is a huge football fan. Paige and her boyfriend, Jeff, have a family full of fur babies – Bonnie, Bailey, Stella and Maverick – always keeping them on their toes!

NCMS is the largest component society chapter of the Colorado Medical Society. The mission of the Northern Colorado Medical Society (NCMS) is to advocate on behalf of our physician members, to encourage a strong and healthy medical profession, and to improve the health and wellbeing of all people in our community.
