Dear NCMS Members,

Well it is has been quite a busy fall season and a start to my time at Northern Colorado Medical Society. First and foremost, I just want to say how privileged I feel to get to work with you all in this great region of the state. I look forward to positively impacting our physician members as we continue to create a healthier medical profession and community in Weld and Larimer counties.

It was wonderful to host the 2020 NCMS Virtual Legislative Night last week. We had many productive conversations and it is great to see CMS, NCMS and our members lean into the virtual world. Please be sure to read the 2020 Legislative Night Report if you were unable to attend the event. NCMS will continue to be your partner as we advocate on behalf of our physician members.

As we look ahead into this upcoming season, working alongside the NCMS Board of Directors, we have some big initiatives on the horizon. We are continuing to understand how we can provide camaraderie between members in this virtual world; the NCMS Physicians’ Book Club has been a great start. Finally, as I conclude this executive report, I want to express my sincere excitement to get to know our physician members. As the executive director, I want to be your direct line to advocacy and guide to getting you more involved. My door is always open.
