Season’s greetings!

I would like to invite you to the Annual Meeting for the Northern Colorado Medical Society. The Northern Colorado Medical Society is now the second largest medical society in the state with over 800 members, yet it is still a tight community of physicians. If you miss the collegiality of chatting with colleagues in the hospital halls, the annual meeting is a prime opportunity to catch up with those you have not seen in a while.

There will be social time followed by our keynote speaker, Dr. Suresh Kulkarni.

Dr. Kulkarni is an engineer who was placed in charge of NASA’s space shuttle program after the Challenger Disaster. He will talk on the culture change that occurred in NASA after the disaster. Decisions that were being made by politicians and administrators were placed back in the hands of engineers. He oversaw 55 successful rocket launches. We are thrilled to have him at the meeting.

Following his talk, there will a brief meeting in which the Physician of the Year and the scholarship winners will be announced.
